'Tunnel' application

TDE MACNO has realised a tunnel system with common power supply bus to control textile machines.
Different type of motors for this system: asynchronous with resolver feedback, asynchronous without feedback and brushless motors. All the drives are interconnected through RS 485 Modbus RTU 56 Kbaud serial line. All the commands are through serial line.

Characteristics:

  • Inverter DVET 30kW type as master (defines speed of travel) with speed feedback from resolver. The resolver is not mounted directly on the motor but on the gear box. We developed a specific software for the reduction ratio. This function can be used also for speed feedback from encoder. The drive is made up by one rectifier bridge for the DC Bus power supply (535 V dc) and for line loss restart through kinetic energy and by an inverter unit The deceleration ramp is quite long so the dissipative braking unit is not necessary.
  • Three drives for brushless motors (In = 12 A) with DC Bus power supply input. The frequency input (A, A/, B, B/)defines the revolution speed of the motor. We obtain such frequency from simulated encoder of the Master drive: in this way we obtain a master/slave configuration. Between master and slave you can select a slip through digital parameter. The frequency input can be used as a speed or as a position reference (positioning loop).
  • A drive for brushless motor (In = 12 A) with DC Bus input for the traversing device (yarn carrier function). Even in this case the speed reference comes from the master drive.
  • A drive for asynchronous motor (11 KW) without speed feedback with DC Bus power supply input and speed reference from jog.
  • One mP digital unit DC/DC through transformer and inductance changes the voltage from 535 V dc to 48 V dc ( I = 8 A ).
